Review: Kurgo Wander Pail

Reviews , Dog accessories, Dogs, Reviews

Mealtimes while traveling can be tough, but not with the Kurgo Wander Pail for Dogs! 11745629_814259728688715_2811995520241579933_n

I picked up the Large pail a while back and found it to be pretty useful. It comes with two convenient dog bowls that screw in place when ready to pack up. The bottom holds 3.8 cups, the top holds 1.7 cups. A stainless steel carrying case in itself, the Pail is easy tote around, plus it’s dishwasher safe, recyclable, and insulated for dogs with raw food diets. It is NOT watertight, though, so don’t leave liquid in it and attempt to pack it up. Some reviews have mentioned that the paint strips in the dishwasher, but I don’t have a dishwasher to verify that, so if you’ve noticed this, please let me know!

It’s been particularly useful to pack a dry kibble meal for a last minute overnight, with its ability to separate into two bowls, yet remain tidy for transport — especially handy in hotel rooms. Canvas or rubber collapsible bowls edge it out in the space saving front, but I prefer the stainless steel for cleaninless. It’s also been a success for skittish dogs who have been startled by bowls of less traditional form (I’m looking at you Kurgo Collaps-a-bowl!)
